I haven't seen an elky with air yet but my buddy who own a body shop just put it on a car for a customer and it seem pretty cool but its still quite a bit of money.

If you do bag' the El Camino, stick with Air Ride Technologies components. More expensive but the design/quality of their products is second to none. My 1986 C10 is being bagged using ART and I'm very happy. _________________ 1969 El Camino
I have the air-ride suspension on my '85 elky and it's great. i mounted the fill valve inside my gas fill lid and it's unnoticable. Good luck, hope you like it! _________________ '05 Grand Prix GTP

I didn't go with "Air Ride" as an all the way around option. I did install Air Bags in my 80 instead of going back in with Air Shocks. I wasn't going to haul things anymore (use it as a truck) so I didn't need the stiff ride the air shocks gave me. I also wanted to be able to "Pre Load" the rear end for a better launch. Here is a partial of what they look like in case your interested.
They were simple to install. But then when you got it this far apart everything is easy to install. Really they just flatten out and install between the coils. _________________ Home Site: http://www.elcaminoplace.com
