I added some pics to my gallery of the braces. Go to members cars, 5th gen, page 7, "CHVYPWRS's '78". Cool

Talk to your local speed shop and ask them who coats headers in your area...get the $100 Hedmans (they fit better than any other brand), then coat them. In Dallas I can get it done for $75....

Where is this shop? I'm going to be doing headers soon and haven't heard of anything this inexpensive.

I've been told that Wayne at Lucky's speed shop in Garland knows the guy who does it. Tell him one of the guys in the Southern Bowties Club told you about it. He doesn't know me yet, but he knows Ryan Chrisenberry (who told me about it).

Does anyone here run Edelbrock Tubular headers? That's what I just bought to go on my 350 and would like to know how well they fit.
Thanks!

TES headers fit fine but you have to drill the fenderwell insert to get to the plugs in certain cylinders (not sure which ones...never had 'em myself, but a friend did and told me he had to drill for two or three plugs).

He also had leaks in his, but I think it was a gasket problem.

The Camaro quick ratio box can be ID'ed by a large Z cast into the top of the box and the last three casting numbers are 525.

The brace under the core support is out of a G-body Grand Prix. It helps add stability to the frame, especialy when added to the Monte SS frame braces. Cool

The steering box I'm using came out of an '87. The "Z" box was used in mid '80's Z28's and IROC's. You could also post a want add over at www.montecarloss.com too, asking for an F-41 steering box.
