I'd be needing a new radiator for my '68....found some GOOD deals on '72-'77 G.M. radiators...I was wondering if the 3rd and 4th generation A-body radiators are the same size/fit? Thanks!

I can tell you that the 4th generation radiators are larger than the 5th gens by about 2 to 3" in width, the hight is the same. I have a 5th generation 3 row HD Radiator in my 4th gen. It was only around 90.00 at an Auto Supply. If I had to ventrue a guess I'd say if a 4th gen was too big, and they probably are not, then a 5th gen could possibly work. But that is a guess not a hard fact.

Good Luck. Sorry I'm not much help here.

when I broke the bung on my 72 ( it was a replacement rad) it turns out it's the same size as my 77 2wd blazer so a truck should be the same, the blazer one had a lifetime warranty on it so I exchanged it and got a new one for free! new cast would have been 110 bucks Jim
