While there are no dues or fees for membership at El Camino
Central, we do rely upon member contributions to keep the site and server running smoothly. As membership grows, so does
site usage. Recently we have seen a huge jump in server load and bandwidth. As a result, at times we notice extremely
slow page loading. Many of you may have also noticed the new member rankings used to recognize supporting members.

I too believe that a merger could only benefit everyone.
If Dan and Robert and everyone else are comfortable with this I say great. I can only imagine the amount of time and effort that must go into organizing a site.
Having joined both places around the same time, I really like both organizations. Combining "all" the features into one site sounds like a natural.
Also, using both names somehow should be the way to go along with the NECOA logo.
Lets keep the votes coming in.

I am all for the merge. I really enjoy the layout of ECC (I love phpBB forums).
To answer tho note on the back of your card, Dan, I'm still up to do anything NECOA/ECC needs me to do. I still think we need to start regional chapters to hold meets, recruit new members, ect.
I also think we need to do some members pages like CarDomain or at least expand the members pages to give more info about the cars.
I'm realy excited that there is a growing community for El Caminos. I think with some more time, and maybe some involvement with other similar bodied cars (boos, velles, montes) we could host some really kick rear end shows, and really make a showing at the current shows. _________________ screenwriter-director-welder-bartender

Ok, ASU, you got to have a name...what is it?
I'm currently redesigning the site on my development server and have been playing with a couple of different member gallery programs to integrate into the site so that members can create their own galleries to showcase their rides. The problem has been finding one that will integrate smoothly into the PhpNuke and ported PhpBB forums user database.
