Hey everyone,
I know I can build an LT4 with a conversion kit with a stock LT1 block and make about 425hp(with reflashing the computer). I have the LT4 conversion, But I also want to stroke the motor over to a 383. What kind of power am I looking at? Plus should I get BBK's 58MM(1544) or 52MM(1543) throttle body?
If yes for the stoker, what are the best parts to get? Company name and part numbers will be very helpfull.

Sorry been out of town.
Just doing an LT4 conversion will not give you 425 unless you're talking at the flywheel. Rear wheel horsepower (RWHP) will be around 350. If you stroke it, put a pretty decent cam and get a deadon tune then you should be able to hit 425 rwhp.
But so you know if your planning on putting it in your 5th gen you're going to need put quite a bit of money into suspension mods to get the power planted to the ground. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS

Is about $2000 and some welding required. This is the set up I am getting on my elky. Minus spring, shocks and track bar adjustment. I am going for air ride, to control this at the driver seat. . The set up for me is about $1,650 plus I am getting a 9" inch rear with them also with large bearing and 31 spline alxes with GM ends. No gears yet. All for $2,500 minus shipping. Ask for Steve from HTH. Also going for the Baer Brakes Track set up, the 13" rotor all around. _________________ Thanks
