I have a '74 without A/C. Here in San Diego, it gets a bit warm from time to time, and I'd like to add it. I think I have the interior parts that are needed to do the job. Now I need to concentrate on the engine compartment.
I have the A/C box, and an evaporator that I don't trust. I also have a complete system in my "parts car" ('74 Chevelle). I'd like to switch to a cycling compressor system, as is found in later models.
What do I need to do this? How much of the Chevelle's system can I reuse?
