I have covers for both my Elky's and have the same problem with both if they are on the car when it rains water collects then it sags into the bed.

Has anyone got a quick and easy solution to this problem? Something to raise the cover up so the water runs off?

I do not want anything that mounts permanent or will scratch anything.

Ideas??

I would think you could put a 2x4, cut to length, under the cover in the bed so that it raises the cover an inch or two.

Don't need much too make it drain to the sides.

Not sure if they have them down in TX, but up here in New England, a lot of above ground swimming pools have to have these plastic inflatable "pillows" put in the pool before you put the cover on for the winter. They are used to prevent ice dams from hitting the side of the pool ripping the liners.

Anyway, they are inexpensive and inflatable. They look like this.

I use them and blow them up with a shop vac. Works like a champ.

One or two beach balls should do it.
