Ok Guys Need a Little Help Here. I just installed a fresh Vortec 350 in my 78 El and need to instal an Electric Fuel pump. I have the pump and the regulator ready to go. There are several lines going into the fuel tank from the drivers side of the car. I think they come off of a canister mounted in the engine comartment on the drivers side. Can I eliminate the canister? The Main fuel line comes all the way to the passenger side of the engine. Should I cut it back towards the rear for mounting the new one? I would like to eliminate as much as possible to clean up the engine compartment area. Please advise. Thanks
