My factory original cruise control on my 82 El Camino still works but has a very annoying surge problem.
Example: If I set it to cruise at, say, 65 MPH, it will pretty much maintain that speed but CONSTANTLY accelerate for a second or two and then let off for a second or two. Bugs the heck out of me!! What causes it to do this?
Is there something I can do to prevent or repair this problem? Thanks for any help you can provide! _________________ Bobby
