I am not the best one to give you advice. I just got my Elky. I know that the 200r4 trans is a direct swap, with little fuss. It would give you a 4th overdrive gear and a lockup torque converter, but the shifts are mushy and they are not a strong unit for racing. The 700r4 is a better choice.

This link covers the topic, and you will find another link there to a site that has complete swap info.

Any G-Body rear end should work. Search the forum for more info.

Good luck.
