Hello all,
I know someone has an answer to this question bcuz ppl have talked about interchanging taigate handles on their 5th Gen. My question is How do u remove the taigate handle on a 5th Gen? I am doing all the body work and i need it off to have room to paint and everything else. I already have the licence plate out, and the screw thats in the handle out. it looks like it should pull off but it doesnt. Anyone can fill this one out for me?

Once the screw is out it should come off. Might have to do some wiggling or maybe try some penetrating oil.

The handle will just slide off. If not pry it straight up.
