I bought a soft cover for the back of my el camino, so I'm freaking out being super excited about it. Problem is when it rains it pools in the middle and is stretching it out and breaking buttons. I found out that I'm supposed to have support rods under it or something. I was wondering if anyone had any info on the kind I need. For instance how long they should be, what type of material works best, etc.? Thanks for the help

Go to a boat shop and get 3 bows consisting of 6 stainless rectangular pockets that you attach with 2 screws each just under the edge of the inside of the bed and 3 poplar bows that you cut to the length that you want. the bows measure about 1/4 inch thick and about 8' long, cut them down until you get the amount of bow in them that you like, start long and then trim down alittle at a time until you get the look and amount of bow you like.
