My 73 obviously uses vacuum lines to open and close the various flaps that send air up or down through the ducts (including defrost). What I need to know is where the vacuum line that goes out to the engine is. Does it come off the switch in the dash? I need to get mine hooked up so I can get my defrost working.

The line runs from the intake manifold over to a Vacuum Reservoir on the fender then into the cabin to the vacuum switch at the selector. You can buy those if yours is leaking, I recall seeing them at EC Parts.net over the weekend. I forget exactly what they are called but I did see them listed in their catalog.

Thanks again for the info. I'll see what I can find out as soon as all the ice melts.
