It was warm today so I was able to start on my car. I pulled all the trim, lower ac, carpet and headliner today.

The rust was pretty bad looks like new floor pans Sad

I am changing from bench to swivel buckets with center console and shift so if any body can help me out on the mounting locations that would help.

Here are a few pictures.

I will be painting all the trim black.

Just one of the rust holes this is the rear passenger.

This is the new dash I have to put in the old one is bad.

I have new black covers to put on these I think the swivel buckets are real cool.

Any and all ideas are welcome

Brad

Things have been going slow but I am making some progress. The floor is in bad shape and needs to be replaced. I know I need to buy new floor pans but they are pretty expensive. I think I am just going to do my best at a patch job. I am not building a show car so i guess I can live with it. Most of what I have done is just prep work and fab to get the buckets and console in to repalce the bench. I did get some of the trim painted and am really happy with how it turned out.

Here are a few pictures.

This is the worst passenger rear.

Hi, I just bought this 73 ss el camino as my first car and I have seen that most of you guys have interior experience and was wondering how to get the ceiling plastic off by the front and back windows?
I was also wondering how to get the outside front and rear window trim off?
