When i close the drivers door the window catches on the wind clip and i have to roll it down a little then back up it seals fine then. Any ideas on a fix to this frustrating problem?

I had that problem on my 69 Charger. What I did to fix it was took the door panel off and lowered the upper stop just a tad bit this way it let me clear the rain gutter. The window still made a good seal and kept the rain out.
