My '84 Conquista came with the minimal gauge package, so after installing my Megashifter, I wanted to install a tach. After installing an old Sun tach I had, I realized I had no idea when my 4bbl 305 redlined. Can anyone help me out?

Yeah I spun mine up to 5500 and it screwed it up. It was burning oil and the whole valve train sounded funny. So I decided to upgrade to an ls1. better milage that way.
