hi all,one quickie here...dose the heater core necesscelary need to be leaking to be bad ?ive got a slight burnt rubbery smell in the passenger compt and a slight fogging of the windshield.Im really hoping its the heater core.Any input would be appreciated.Raditor dosnt seem to be losing any fluid.

If you are getting the mist on your window it is the heater core leaking.

Cool Yep! Bad core. They always smell bad and the anti-freeze is a pain to clean off the glass. Sad

yup,bad core.last night on the way to work i turned the heat on and i ended up having to pull over on 101 so i could clean the window off.It seemed to be worse then it ever did.Weekend project.Thanks for your answers.
