I installed the Edelbrock Pro-Flo on my 87. Since both systems are aftermarket stand-alone systems I would guess they are very similar. They are very easy to install "plug-n-play". They aren't cheap, but it was the single best improvement I ever made. The driveability and increased throttle response, fuel milage and cold start are no comparison to a carb setup. Having the ability to adjust the fuel, spark curves and save several programs " economy, performance, etc" is great.

How much would it be to buy it, and how much would it total to have a mechanic do it? I think it'd be worth it because I get such terrible gas mileage now, it seems like a good move to save some gas without sacrificing the quality or performance of the ride, even improving it at altitude and in cold.
