I have a few questions

1. Is the 80 el camino and 85 monte Carlo head the same???

2. Does the head ever have a vaccum leak??? I hear hissing noises at the head when I plug the lines in but they look good.

3. Why does it only blow out of the vents on max but not bi-level or vent???

4. Please help!!!

Yes, the controls were the same for many years.

Probably have a bad mode switch (vacuum switch) if you hear hissing. You can get a new one at Napa for $20:

A/C Mode Selector Switch
Part No. TEM 207709

I got the part but it was still hissing. It was the other part that the vacuum lines connect to I think like like 2. Does anyone have the part number for it???
