Thanks for asking Poltergeist, Yes I'm using a Mac but I used Photobucket and was succesful in uploading pictures in the posts. I have not tried to upload photos to the galleries. My El Camino is nothing special as far as custom features, just a nice looking, well maintained Elky with a color-matched topper. And I like my Mac. When you get a chance can you try creating a gallery and see if you can upload pictures? Try using both the basic Mac browser and if it doesn't work IE or some other browser. It will help to determine if it is a Mac problem or if it is Leo's machine.

Okay, tried Safari, IE and Firefox. Got the same response Sorry," this Module isn't active!". Found that I had to log in again on IE and Firefox. Did not make any difference, still got the"Sorry, this Module isn't active!".
I feel like some sort of an unwanted stepchild or something.
Hope something can be done to fix this....Doug _________________ 85 El Camino 305, TH350, K&N, dual exhausts

Same here, I had tried everything, nothing worked. I also just tried to create a new gallery in the 5th Gens and I got the inactive module warning.
You need to check back to see what settings may have been changed since this is a fairly new problem. In the past I had no problem adding pictures to the galleries.
By the way, uploading pictures into the forums works fine. _________________ Leo

Nothing has been changed in the software for the gallery that I'm aware of, no upgrades and there are no settings to change. Have you checked to see what software upgrades have been done to your Mac to see what could be causing the problem??
Being able to link pictures to the forum has absolutely nothing to do with the problems that your Macs are having.
I realize it's easy to blame the site but it may not always the case. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS
Well like I said before, Had not tried uploading pictures in the galleries. Because my Elkie is nothing special as far as custom features. So uploading pictures to the gallery is no biggie for me anyway. The forums are no problem, works with my Mac and photobucket. Still seems like a weird problem, kind of like some Windows videos won't play on a Mac.
Anyway, thanks for looking into it.....Doug _________________ 85 El Camino 305, TH350, K&N, dual exhausts

You wrong in that you feel that your El Camino is not special, everyone of them is special. And there should be no reason why you should not be able to create a gallery. But since I don't own a Mac it limits what I can do to test and troubleshoot. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS

I have to strongly disagree with this. There has to be something within the forum software or setting that is causing the problem because nowhere else on the internet, no other forum, no other web site, exhibits this problem. This is the only place that appears to exhibit a problem with Macs in this manner.
I'll try and do some searching online to see if other forums have the problem, especially others that use this software.
Also, I don't think ECC is running the latest most up to date version of phBB. _________________ Leo

No this site currently is not running the latest phBB, but then the gallery is not part of phBB either. It is an addon software. It is the same version that the site has always run. We cannot upgrade to the latest version because the latest version does not have voting function. So once again nothing has been changed with the gallery.
Let me know if you find anything that might help to figure it out. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS
I receive this from the Gallery people after they took a look at the ECC site, see if it helps:
"Thanks for the URL, so i was able to figure out, that its a Gallery inside an (old, buggy, outdated and unsecure) phpNuke.
Gallery is installed as a module. You need to enable this as a phpNuke admin. Gallery itself is not causing the problem." _________________ Leo
