The only performance article in the categories menu is about retrieving trouble codes. Due to all the 305 performance threads we get, I was thinking about adding a 305 vs. 350 article debating the pros and cons of swapping, as well as basic performance how-to. Maybe a better place would be a sticky in the performance forum or magazine?
I'd be willing to write the article and post it in this thread to be proofread and checked for accuracy of information. Which would be the best area to have such an article? What's yalls input? _________________

I would say start it in the Engine area. Once it where the majority of the people agree with it, it can be stickyed at the top of the that forum for everyone to see when they first go into the area. _________________ '82 El Camino with an LT1 from a 95 Impala SS
This sounds like a great idea to me. A lot of answers can be there for newbies and the inexperenced. Owners can then plan on what they might want to do based on financial considerations and future goals.
This could be quite an undertaking 86Conquista. There is bound to be a lot of different opinions. Good luck in addressing them if this comes about...Doug _________________ 85 El Camino 305, TH350, K&N, dual exhausts

Ok, now that I've got time, I'll be writing the topic. I'll post it in this thread for review and suggestions in a while. I'm trying to dig up information on possible performance upgrades too. _________________
