I know this has been discussed before but can't find answer to my problem. No power is getting to heater/ac switch. Fuse good, relay good, fan good, fan switch good, main ac/heat/vent selector switch good. Checked red wire that goes to relay, has power. The brown wire under the dash does not have any power & comes from a small round switch(?) that also has a yellow wire connected to it that runs to the fan resistors. I checked for voltage with the ign switch on & get no reading on either side. If I put 12v directly on the brown wire everything works. Does this switch(?) get power directly from fuse panel? I looked at a wiring diagram on this site & this connection (or switch if that is what it is) is not even shown.
Just found another elec dia that shows a IP Ambient Sw with these brown and yellow wires attached. Not sure of power source, diagram says cir.#50. What do I check? Thanks

From the "A/C HEATER FUSE 25A" is a brown wire, 14 gauge, hot only with ign on. This wire goes directly to the function switch on the climate panel. Also feeds the ambient temp switch behind the dash.

If you do not have 12v at the brown wire of the control panel with the ignitoin on, then you have to trace back to the fuse panel. First thing to check is that you have 12v on both sides of the fuse with the key on.

I can scan the circuit diagram if it would help.

Thanks, I'll check out the fuse panel. Don't need a diagram, I found one.
Thanks for the offer.
