Anyone happen to know of a supplier for a set of 66 El Camino rear springs. All the catalogs I have show springs for the various years except the 66. I know this was the odd year build for chevrolet and was wondering what springs they used. I bought a set that fit several different models in 66 year and were listed as the HD replacement rear springs. The new springs were a bit shorter than the old worn out originals I took off. Just didn't seem right. If the springs are not available can someone recommend a place to have my original springs reworked?

Hey Scrubby. Lookin through the O.P.G catalog and they have a set there for 49.95. I got mine through JC Whitney a few years back, don't know if they still carry them or not. Hit on the Links button and browse through a few of the manufacturer's and parts suppliers. The address for OPG is -www. gmrestoparts.com - Part #TRW6197. They're out there. Good luck
