My apologies for lower quality video, it's all I had available. Also, I promise to tighten the belts and adjust the carb a bit. I also forgot to roll up the window so there is some wind noise and the neck strap was slapping the camera body. I suppose I could have done better in many ways, sorry. Anyway this car has been sitting for quite some time. It's an '81 with only 46K miles but had apparently sat long enough for the original 229 to freeze up. I aquired the car in that crusty condition. It's no "show winner" but it is atleast functional once again and "saved from the crusher" Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, I sure am gonna try.
Cool!

Sounds great, even with the low quality audio. What exhaust setup are you running? _________________ 70 Elky (Non-SS) 454CID, TH700-R4

Sorry about the delayed response guys....I was getting beat up over a carb issue...now a lighting deal. It's actually an '86 "G" engine with a Comp XE262, Weiand Intake, Q-Jet, Pertronix Ignition, Flow Tech shorty Headers. 2 1/4' true dual exhaust (crossmember from Jeg's) and some Dynomax mufflers. Oh. it has an H-Pipe too. It runs MUCH better now, but the 3.50:1 first gear and a peg leg makes for some "interesting" rolling burnouts. I'll get you guys another video as soon as I get a chance. Thanks for th compliments....even if it is only a 305.
