Hi, i just bought a 78 elky, it has the v6 in it, and an automatic tranny. Does anyone know which tranny this is? I am going to drop a 350 in her, and am just hoping that the tranny can handle the power increase.
Thanks all

Hey, I just went out there to see if i could get her running, after sitting on my neighbors lot for two years without being started. Initially it would turn over, but after whacking the starter with a cresent a few times and a little ether she fired right up. I still need to know what the tranny is, it is a three speed aut with the shifter on the column.
Thx guys
