Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these Scat/Procar seats. They sell on summit for 150 each. I've seen them mounted and they look good, nice and clean lines and all. But are they comfortable at all? I find my old worn down bench that I need to be rid of rather comfy, maybe a bit springy but still pleasant. If anyone has any experience with these I'd love it if you could share it. Also, how are the side bolsters on these, would they be tight on a medium-sized person? Here's one I was considering, you can get it with the back and seat piece in the center in either vinyl or velor, I was thinking vinyl cause it'll hold up longer and to be honest I think it looks nicer. You can also get the sides in different colors but I'm not a fan of that.

I have the tall backs and like em a lot. They're better than I expected. The only thing I had a problem with were the slide adjusters. Only one side latches and on hard starts and stops the seat moves a little bit. Don't notice it in normal driving. Whatever that is. Rick[img]

Do they just bolt up? Max, you have the split bench so mounting the seats will be a lot easier. The inner mounts are already there.You could probably just use a piece of plate steel or aluminum and some spacers drilled to fit the floor mounts and then mount the seats to the plate. You'll need the spacers to raise the plate above the floor seam and to set the seat to the angle you want. Once you get it set remove the spacers and weld or bolt on brackets to fit.
I had the full bench so I used the Summit mounts which are just 2x2 angle with adjustment holes. You get 4 pieces per seat and you can put em together to make either a channel or a Z bracket. I had to notch the lower half to fit over the floor seam.
