looking to buy one within the next month.mine died over winter and i am starting to restore the elky back to stock.. in working order would be great. if u have one throw some prices at me this is gonna be my b-day present from the wife . _________________
Does it have to be a manual choke? I have a few Qjets but all are electric choke. _________________ Jeff J

thanks for the replies guys, how hard would it be hooking up a electric choke I'm pretty sure it would be easy but i never had a problem wit the original until this past year after i took it out of storage it for about 9 months without starting. I'm gonna check the local advance auto and see what they have for sale. if not i might send it out for a rebuild. _________________

electric choke is VERY simple all you have to do is run the wire to the fuse panel to the IGN port in it
it's cake walk
also i have a 1974 2bbl rochester carb it is good and complete, it has the hot air vacuum tube type automatic choke, if you have the spot in the pass side center of the intake at the number 4 and 6 cylinders with two small threaded bolt holes in the intake to mount the heat vacuum tube plate deal to it then it will work
