I am having a problem with lights on my el camino the front running lights are working on the sides of the fenders and under the headlights but nothin else is working. Like My head lights, brake lights, rear running lights, and turn signals none of them are working what could be wrong? I have checked all of my grounds on the bottom of the car in the back the grounds on each side of the header panel and inside on each side of the dash.

The only thing that I can think of that would affect that many circuits at one time would be that one of the fusible links connected to the starter solenoid has burned out. You might be able to see the one affected or pull on the wires and see if one of them stretches. If one is burned out, then there must be a short somewhere.

I could be wrong about this whole thing, but looking at my '85 wiring diagram nothing controls this many circuits such as the light switch or the turn/dimmer switch.

I figured out what it was i forgot to connect the wires that come out under the a/c that plugs into the engine harness. Now all my lights are working except for the brake lights which i think the brake switch is bad.
