Alrighty, so I finally got around to finding the carb I wanted and ordering it... should be here in a few days, but I got just a question or two before I get to working on it...

1. I know it is held on by the four big bolts, but what I don't know, is if it is something i need a torque wrench for, or something where just "tight" or "Very Snug" will be sufficient.

2. Is disconnecting and re-connecting the throttle linkages as simple as it seems? Or do I need to try to calibrate it to such and such a tightness etc... it looks like I just unhook it from one, install the other, and hook it up.

3. I had mentioned the idle switch on my current carb, asking about if I needed it or not... but, it looks like it's just a little switch with a bolt that sticks out and bumps against the throttle to tell if it's engaged.... It looks like I can just take it off my E4ME, and stick it right on an M4ME with little to no effort?

1 tighten them evenly or you can break off an ear on the carb base--otherwise just very snug is ok---if there are no vacuum leaks its tight enough.

2Yes

3don't have the slightest idea since I am not familiar with the M4ME

hope that helps some.................Dan

Well, I got it all hooked up and she purrs like a kitten... Wow, what an amazing difference... I don't know if I'm getting better fuel economy or not... but it sounds completely different. And moves almost twice as fast Happy I think I may cancel out my fuel economy with how much fun it is to drive now... Well worth the money, thanks to all those that helped! Happy
