In the past two months we've had 5 customers tell us about your site (and our lack of presence). My name is Tony and I own Muscle Car Metal (http://www.musclecarmetal.com) (lists all of Goodmark's parts) and Just Sheet Metal (http://www.justsheetmetal.com) (lists all of Dynacorn's parts). We offer a flat rate of $125 for all truck freight orders and would also like to offer a 10% discount to all ElCamino Central members. Please call us toll free at 888-328-9527 with your order. Thanks to John for the heads up. _________________ TonyP @ MuscleCarMetal

Shipping can be to a residence, but just remember someone must be there to sign and inspect delivery. The freight company will not drop your order on your front door. Also, whoever accepts delivery must inspect the boxes, even if there is a small dent in a box make sure the driver makes a note of it on the paperwork. He will not wait around while you inspect your shipment, so it's important to note any damage on the paperwork you sign. If you have any questions, call Elena at 888-328-9527 (toll free), she's very good and can answer any other questions you have. Glad to be of help! _________________ TonyP @ MuscleCarMetal

thanks for your quick response... i have noticed some of these companies use a COD type of payment... is everything paid upfront before the shipment is processed and will there be a tracking process to find out when i would need to be home? _________________ I bet my engine sounds better than yours....

We accept MasterCard and Visa and payment is made at the time you place your order. However, your credit card is not debited until your order ships. Your credit card on-line statement will show the amount as "Authorized". Once we receive confirmation that your order has shipped, we send you the name of the freight company, their website address, and the tracking number. With this information you will know the day your delivery is scheduled. I usually call the freight company's 800 number the day before a scheduled delivery and ask if they can tell me if it's going to be in the morning or afternoon. But that's not guaranteed. _________________ TonyP @ MuscleCarMetal
Welcome to our site, Tony. Now you need to buy an El Camino for yourself. Please be sure to add a link to El Camino Central on your two websites so other Elky owners can find us. Thanks! _________________ View my El Camino

Great shipping and discount, however it takes 10% to prep a goodmark part but I think that is normal as nothing bolts right up!! Dynacorn trim is just another foriegn part that is thinner and many items, not all just plain don't fit proper or you better be able to make them work. I have done 4 late 60's Elky's ground up and frame off and its just they way parts are some fit and others don't. But be carefull of the Dyna parts, Thanks a lot for the goodmark linkup we will use that. _________________ "69" SS 396/350 HP with a stock outside, stock underside, stock inside and a splash of chrome and polish in the engine area.

You're right! In the past 3 years I've build 22 rolling body shells (Camaro/Firebird) and nothing ever bolts right on. Some piece go on easier than others, but keep in mind these are repops, not originals - and both Goodmark and Dynacorn get their sheetmetal from Taiwan (Golden Legion). Over the weekend, I spent 2 hours on getting a Goodmark LH quarter panel to fit and 15 minutes getting the RH to fit. I can't attest to El Camino parts since I only rebuild 1st Gen Camaro/Firebird; but in my opinion Goodmark & Dynacorn sell affordable parts and if you are expecting a perfect fit...then you're better off buying an NOS part.
Also, don't know if you are aware or not, but Goodmark gave up their GM Licensing contract last year and Dynacorn purchased one. Very slowly we are seeing more and more Dynacorn parts with the GM License logo. _________________ TonyP @ MuscleCarMetal
