I just came back from Oreileys after taking a bvox of spark plug wires back for exchange. Of the 6 wires (229 V6), 4 had right angle connections to the spark plug and two had straight connectors. But there were no instructions as to that feature so I assumed that they were a mixed set. The were not a mixed set. A second box showed the same configuration.

So, which of the six plugs use the two wires with the straight connectors on them???

Not Possitive, but in most likely hood, the rear on both banks, as with most that I've seen. Helps with clearing the Exhaust Manifold where it seems to be a closer tolerance to the plug, on most.

That is where I put them because they were hard to reach. I am going to remove the air induction pipes before I do it again ! ! They are not connected anyway.

The two straight plug ends go on the last plug on each bank, a little hint ,it's somewhat easier to install the wires by1) numbering the ends and working from either the underside of the vehicle or by 2) removing the wheels and working thru the fenderwells .
It seems every set I have purchased from my local mass supplier was short of fitting correctly ie: not long enough to properly fit in the anchor clips under the engine and up to the corresponding plug I solved the problem by ordering a set for a V-8 and simply used the longer wires as needed.
