Have an 82 with turbo 350 tranny. I t seems to be leaking fluid from the selector shaft seal. I am sure over the years it has become worn. Any suggestions besides getting a new tranny? Thanks
There is a special tool that slips over the shaft and I believe has threads that will remove the seal. Any transmission shop can do this simple job, not even sure if they have to drain the fluid. You might check NAPA for the tool and seal if you want to DIYS.
