How and what product does everyone use to polish out the red tail/stop light lenses? I have cleaned with everything I know of and used plastic polish with poor results. I would rather not purchase new ones as they are very expensive. There must be something out there that will bring them back to original brightness/color.
Thanks Roger _________________ 1980 El Camino

Thanks dcar, did not think of using my drill. I tried polish and my buffing wheel on an old broken lens and it just melted it right away. Will try it in the morning as it is 100 degrees here this afternoon. _________________ 1980 El Camino

On my 98 silverado I had to wet sand 1st with 800 grit ,then with 1500 grit, then buffed it out with some polishing compound , then a coat of Zaino.
They were so bad I couldnt see 10 ft. at night!
That was 1 year ago,,,they still look the same.
This was a cheap fix ,,if you have a buffer.
