I have 245/45/18 wheels on all corners. I was looking change out the front and rear springs to get an inch drop. I am worried because on hard bumps and turn inclines front wheel rubs fender well. Should I stay with oem height springs in order for wheels not to come in contact with wheel wells. Or will the new springs (shorter) take care of the problem and give me the look I want.

If the front wheel is already rubbing, dropping it more is just going to make it worse. Perhaps you may want to actually raise the car a bit to provide clearance. Could also be a backspacing problem.
I'd take care of the rubbing you have now first though. THat's a safety issue and safety should never come in second to looks.

Ditto what 74 said -- First find out what's rubbing and fix that. In doing so you will figure out for sure if you can lower the car. Most likely lowering it will make the rubbing worse, and you will chew up those tires quickly. And Murphy's Law is that the tire will blow at the worst possible time.
