Hey guys, here's something interesting. I was talking to a Spanish lady yesterday who also happens to be a College Professor.
She teaches Spanish and Latin. I told her that I knew El Camino means "the road" and asked her why you would name a car/truck that. She said "In that context and usage it would mean "The Roadster"!
That's kind of cool I think. It is a two door, two-seater, can handle well, etc.

Hum, according to http://translation2.paralink.com/ "the roadster" is translated as, "el auto deportivo sin capota"...which also means "the sports car without bonnet" when going from spanish to english. Whereas, "the road" translates as, "el camino"...which also means "the way" when going from spanish to english.
Actually, "the road", "the way" and "the path" all translate as "el camino".
That's a bit confusing! _________________ 1980 El CaminoSS
