I ordered the window and door rubber seal kit from 'The Weatherstrip Store' off of ebay and was very disappointed. The window rubber fit OK, but the ends were too long. The door rubber may as well have been for another car it was so far off. The price was right ($149+15 shipping), but it appears in this case you really get what you pay for. They said they will refund 100% and I sent it back yesterday. On the positive side, the support staff has been very helpful and quick to respond to my emails. Maybe I received a bad batch, but you may want to spend a little more in this area.
I ordered a new set from Steele Rubber ($195 w/shipping) - I'll let you know how that works out.

I am very happy with the product. The shipping was a little slow but weatherstiping fit perfectly and was high quality.

After a packaging mix-up on their end, I received the correct strips for my '84 from Steele. The fit it great - the rubber is soft, but very solid and flexible. Much more 'dense' then the cheaper ones I had returned from the other company. The plastic pins lined right up and the install took about 10 minutes. Great product - well worth the extra $$.
They originally sent me the wrong window seals, but they had UPS pick them up and return with the correct ones a few days later. Customer service was quick and easy.

drk1313,
When you say "window seals" are you talking about the roof rail weatherstrip or the window fuzzies?
If you are talking about the roof rail weatherstripping I've wanted to talk to someone who has used Steele brand roof rail because I've thought about using their product. Since it does cost a little more I hated to buy it without hearing someones opinion on it first.
If it is the roof rail weatherstrip you used from Steele does it fit well and did you have any bad opinions about it? _________________ Bobby

Yes - I installed their roof rail weatherstrip. The fit is great, the pins on the ends line up and the window fits nice and tight against the seal. I was able to wash the car with a hose with no leaks, so I'm pretty impressed.
I did install the window fuzzies as well - I bought those from the El Camino Store and the fit was good.

I had my finger on the order button for the whole kit-n-kaboodle from el camino store.com earlier today. roof rail weatherstrip door weatherstrip and the window wipes (fuzzies). Any of you have any opinion of the rubber parts from ecs.com? If those ones from the website you suggested are better I'll go with those but if anyones had experience with the others let me know.
Thanks,
