At the nearest drag strip last night. @ Famoso Race Way. Wow talk about addrenaline! I dont have a car I can race but I was watching my friend run his Nova finally got his fasetst time of 12.74 @ 107mph which is awesome for his Nova that has gone a long way. Anyways being there brought back some memories of the Elky wished I had it still. But I got a new car idea coming soon keeping that a secret till I get it. What was the nicest thing overall is hearing all these 10 second cars rumble and go down the strip! AND you know its a bad rear end car when your insides rumble and shake!
I love my ELKO but I had a tiny little Chevy Blazer Tahoe (not the pick up) anyways someone had shoe-horned in a 350 with full race cam, Holley 750 double pumper, a seperate fuel cell with racing fuel, and a 100 shot of NOS. 373 gears with a mini spool.
You hit the button and run all 3 at the same time and DA-- it was scary fast. It would pull the wheels.
I sold it for cash for my ELKO, but I know the rush!!!
The good news is I got rid of it before I got that one way trip to jail, or worse! But I do miss the RUSH!
