The date for the Mesa Cruise has been set and is posted on Cruisin Arizona. It will be on Novemebr 8th from 12:00 noon until 10:00pm. The event takes place on Main Street between Country Club and Mesa Drive.
From 12:00 to 5:00 is the Car Show with plenty of people that will want to see your El Camino. At 5:00 and continuing until 10:00 it is cruise time.
Main Street is closed to other traffic and all us rodders' get to go out and "rubberize the road". There will be police on hand to make sure no one gets too crazy but if you love the sounds of Horsepower and the scent of burning rubber you will not want to miss this event.
This is a call out to all the folks that have posted here and have wanted to get together at a cruise:
are those I remember posting (from Div. 15) in the last year or so and are invited to get together for this cruise day. If I left anyone out I am sorry and you are absolutely invited to be a part of this cruise day.
Most of the folks above have talked or emailed with me and I told you about the fun I had at the Mesa show in March. This is the same cruise
(now becoming a spring and fall event) and it is better than what the "Cruise on Central" USED to be.
Parking spots are reserved and I will need to hear from everyone in order to keep the El Caminos together.

Ahw Shucks! (Politically correct terminology)
The Main Street Cruise has been postponed. Why? Because the "Cruise on Central" resumes on the same night. The new lightrail is in so the cruise will resume on Nov. 8th at the normal location. The last time I went, there were plenty of great looking cars however, the cops had it shut down to the point where if you got on the street you could make 5 maybe 10 MPH.
