Ran the stock 10" clutches for years with no problems, then I decided to step up to a Centerforce II on the street. What a costly mistake that was, didn't last 8 months. Now I'm using a stock 10.4" behind my 283 with no problems. I'm picking up a 350 this weekend. I plan to build it mildly for a bit more torque on the street. Just trying to get my ducks in a row and see if anyone can give some direction towards a decent street clutch set-up? I'm running 3.08 gears in the rear and I plan to install an Eaton posi unit before the 350 goes in. _________________ 1966 El Camino owner

Used Borg Warner before in my dad's 1976 Corvette, but it didn't work too good and chattered really early on. Replaced it with a LUK and everything is fine.
Also have had good luck with Ram clutches. We put one in my dad's 1968 Camaro 10.4" clutch, he is very happy with it. _________________ Bryan Shook
