the a/c in my '64 doesn't seem to hold a charge. it was converted to r134 by the previous owner and i was looking through the old receipts and on one of the service tickets when they tested the a/c it states that it needs a compensator or step up motor. i've searched everywhere online i can think of and find nothing on this topic. like, what the hell it is for instance......i was going to put some sealant with dye in it to check for leaks but apparently when they converted the system they didn't change the fittings because the bottle of sealant is way too big for the fitting. anyway, any help would be appreciated. thanks.
