I'm not sure exactly what you mean about the IROC. My 1983 has a custom kit by Crystalite Engineering of So. California which they called "The IROC SST" package. I have posted a link below to my photo gallery. Is this what you meant? There was no specific GM package for El Caminos called IROC as far as I know.

In 1985-86 Choo Choo Customs, Inc. produced approx. 15 Choo Choo Customs El Camino IROC-S's, see this link for the available info (read note #7), click on the IROC-S pic for a larger photo:

I know one was in St. Louis, MO, JJ's IROC-S shown in the picture in my article, and I received an e-mail from another owner about a month ago, and Norway has two. That's four of 15 accounted for... pretty rare! _________________ Dan Smith

I have an Iroc-s. I bought it about 3 years ago from a junkyard. It is a fixer-upper to put it nicely but she is real. I don't know which number it is but it is an '86 and I heard that only numbers 13-15 were made in '86. It has the original paint scheme and the original candy-colored paint can be seen through where the repaint is chipping. It also has the unique blue interior and holes in the bed where the roll bar once was. I will gladly email a photo to you guys if you reply to this. Is there anyway I can find out exactly which number mine is like via the vin? _________________ 1983 El Camnio SS
