Sometime in the near future I will be trying to put a t.b.i. system off a '91 camaro on my elky. I currently have a 600 eldelbrock on it now. Would anyone out there know if the computer for the t.b.i. would work with a standard cam? Or would anyone think I'd have to put a closed loop computer in it? I'd hate to put all that b.s. on it and find out the cam aint compatable. It's a summit cam .420/.442.Any help, advice,or knowledge would be apprieciated!! This is something I've always wanted to do for a long time. If there's anyone with any experience with this,I'd love to hear from you!

I have had real good luck in this area and I have always contacted www.tbichips.com for any questions, this guy will email you back real quick with an answer with what you will need to convert over.
As long as you have all wiring, ECM and throttle body you should not have any problem, you may need to replace the chip.
Good luck.
