Hey there - finally had my car delivered and got to the cowl. The cowl tag has been flattened on the top left corner - so as best I can tell - here are the codes...

ST 70 13380 BL 00006
TR 755 75B paint

Any help disciphering this would be appreciated! Cool

What's the difference between a Chevelle El Camino and a Malibu Custom El Camino? My VIN indicates the Malibu Custom - but not sure what that means in the context of things. Smile

Thanks!

13380 - El Camino 6 cylinder
13480 - El Camino 8 cylinder

13580 - El Camino Custom 6 cylinder
13680 - El Camino Custom 8 cylinder

Series is Chevelle
Models are;
Malibu, El Camino Custom or Concours (Luxury Malibu)

The Difference between the El Camino and the El Camino Custom, the Custom (or Malibu in car line) have upscale trim and exterior molding etc. Where as the Chevelle and El Camino are more of bare bones car. Malibu and ELC Custom cost more money. And some options cannot be ordered unless you up-grade to the Malibu and ELC Custom. The most notable one being the Z25 (or Z15 70up) SS option.

You start with the El Camino, them option up to the Custom model and you get nicer seats, carpets instead of vinyl mat, more trim etc. Same with exterior. More standard features.

Hope I 'splained clearly.
